Pic on the right is me on my PT course. I was two 2 weeks out from a show. Didn’t know how to use a Kettlebell. Only knew body building regimes and using cardio equipment for hours of steady state or hiit. I was doing a PT course as “something to do” as I was so unhappy. I was also unemployed and worried any “normal” job I’d get wouldn’t work alongside my crazy fitness regime. ⠀
3 years later not only has my own training transformed, but my skills as a PT have increased dramatically! Fitness is still my passion (and still my job) but in a much more “normal” way. As a result my body has transformed too. Yes I’m no where near as lean. But happiness does not come from being lean, as I’ve said soo many times before. Happiness for me also doesn’t come from winning bikini shows, but enjoying my lifestyle, socialising, eating how/when I want, and training in the most diverse way I ever have. I currently include weight training my glutes, functional style training, Muay Thai, boxing and BJJ. Some weeks I do nothing bc life gets in the way. And the world doesn’t end if that happens. For me that is true #bAlaNce
